Buddhist Bhutan is slowly but carefully opening its doors to outsiders, who are now discovering it as a journey back in time.

Here visitors enjoy Druk Yul, the "Land of the Thunder Dragon," the Himalayas' last hidden Kingdom. Numerous temples and monasteries make up the tour, including a hike to the Taktsang "Tiger's Nest" Monastery where, according to legend, Guru Rinpoche meditated after flying across the Himalayas on a tiger.
