Check-in was surprisingly efficient and customs was no hassle at all - just a simple scan of hand luggage and swipe of a metal detector. Gates also opened punctually and everyone was boarded onto the Boeing 737-400 within 20 minutes.
Soon enough after a quick take-off a box of refreshments was served, in which I found a scrumptious raisin cake and some much needed fruit juice.
There was hardly any turbulence and as the aircraft streamed smoothly across Bangkok, I drifted off to sleep exhausted, only woken an hour later as the plane landed.
