BMA opens a new flyover at Suthisarn Intersection tomorrow

Traffic in Din Daeng area is expected to improve beginning tomorrow when the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration opens a bridge across the Suthisarn Intersection. Deputy Bangkok Governor Bannasophit Mekvichai said the bridge will be officially opened at 5 a.m. on Monday and will play a vital part in easing the traffic along the Vibhavadi Rangsit Road. The road usually sees a lot of cars as it is a major gateway to the North.
Mrs. Bannasophit said the bridge will relieve the traffic when the school opens later this week The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has also recruited a number of volunteers to help the police direct the traffic.
She said that an evaluation will be conducted after a certain period from the opening of the bridge to address any weak point. The deputy governor warns motorists to study the routes to be used before journey and to observe signposts carefully to prevent unnecessary use of oil.
